I did meet someone I wanted to marry when I was 31,in 1990. After we married, everyone wanted to know when we were going to have kids. People should really just take care of their own business. Keep writing from the heart, that is where the gold is. I wish I could be closer and listen when you just want to talk. :)Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10650865225509833309noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5106096493236017819.post-35683332743520525212013-02-03T12:01:05.342-08:002013-02-03T12:01:05.342-08:00Wow! incredible post. We see each other at work but I dont know you very well. you had my attention at "My singleness is not a problem to be fixed.
And it doesn't make me strange or weird.
Just like you, I want to belong. I want to be included.
I want to be missed when I'm not there. And I want to know you well enough to miss you when you're not there." That probably took a lot of courage I'm assuming to put such personal and deep feelings and thoughts out publicly. I applaud you! In contrast to your post, I found what I thought was a life time companion when I was 18, married, had 3 beautiful daughters... and lost it all. Sometimes I wonder, "should I have waited longer? Maybe I rushed into it for selfish reasons." Don't get me wrong, I have no regrets. I've learned a lot and have my kids :) I guess what I'm trying to say is I respect you where you are and the strength you have to know what you want. Most important the patience you have. Your right, your singleness is not a problem to be fixed! God must have someone real special out there for you. Sorry I know you've probably been told that a million times, but I believe it for you, even if you don't :) Thank you for your post. I think this is one of your best posts....Thank you. I think this is one of your best posts. I don't find it offensive at all; simply honest. Sometimes God's plans are different then ours, and even though He is always good and even if his plans are a true blessing, sometimes they are hard to walk/live out. Romans 5 comes to mind. We are strengthened by difficulty, but also shaped into the people God wants us to be. It is very true that we are all learning to follow God more and more each day, and that we have a lot to learn from each other. Thank you for sharing your heart.

Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
